Exterior Gloss: 92% sheen

Ideal for all things exterior, from bridges, to commercial sheds, metalwork, wooden frames etc.

For all bare surfaces (wood, metal, plastic) you do need a suitable primer.

Applied evenly, 1L of Amelio Exterior covers around 9m2 (one coat). 

Although a high coverage is a key part of Amelio Exterior Paint, we do still recommend two coats to ensure a durable finish. Bear this in mind when calculating the quantity you require.

Touch dry – 2hrs @20°C

Hard dry – 4hrs @20°C

Full dry – 12hrs @20°C

Re-coat once fully dry.

This fast drying Prep Clean degreaser is recommended to clean and degrease areas prior to painting.

As the names suggest, Bare Metal Prep Clean is used for metal surfaces which have no paint on them and Pre Painted is used for any surface (wood, metal etc) with pre-existing paint.

The reason for pre-cleaning surfaces to be painted is to remove grease, oil, silicones, wax and any other contaminant.  If this practice is omitted there is a significant risk that the subsequently applied coatings will suffer from a lack of adhesion.

We recommend then using a tack cloth to ensure all dust and dirt is removed.
